Tryouts
Prospective Student-Athlete Form
The Bearcat Cheerleaders will host a tryout prep clinic Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 4:00-6:00 pm in Martindale Gymnasium. Cost is $5
Tryouts for 2009-2010 squad will be held Friday, April 3 from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm; Saturday, April 4, from 10:00 am-3:00 pm; Sunday, April 5 from 10:00 am-3:00 pm in Martindale Gymnasium.
Interested prospects had to do the following prior to attending:
- Apply to Northwest and be accepted
- Register for Tryouts, fill out Form A
- Provide a current picture and letter of recommendation from most recent cheerleading coach
- Provide current insurance information and copy of most recent physical
Females must be able to perform the following skills:
- Standing Back tuck/ Round off Back handspring, back tuck
- Heel stretch full down cradle
- Toss to shoulders
Males must be able to perform the following skills:
- Attempt standing back tuck
- Toss to shoulders
- Liberty variations
