Bryan Boettcher
Bryan Boettcher was hired as Director of Athletic Media Relations and Sports Information at Northwest Missouri State University in July of 2007. He is responsible for the publicity of Northwest’s 16 intercollegiate sports.
Boettcher spent the 2006-07 academic year as a staff assistant at the University of Wisconsin, where he was responsible for the publicity of softball while assisting with men’s basketball and publications.
Prior to Wisconsin, Boettcher served three-and-a-half years as the sports information director at his alma mater, Coe College, in Iowa, where he was responsible for the publicity of the school’s 21 sports. He also developed and maintained its athletics Web site and was a director in residence life.
Boettcher served as an intern in Coe’s SID department during the fall semester of his senior year before taking over the position full time in January of 2003. He graduated in the spring of that year with a B.A. in business administration.
