Bearcat baseball weekend schedule change

MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State baseball team will head to Tahlequah, Okla. for a three game series to open up MIAA play.

The series has been adjusted for warmer weather. Northwest (0-3) and Northeastern State with throw the first pitch Saturday at 1 pm for a single nine inning game.

Sunday will see the Bearcats play a double header starting with a seven inning affair at noon followed by a nine inning game to finish out the series.

Northwest enters the MIAA opener 0-3 after dropping three games to Arkansas-Monticello last weekend. The RiverHawks are coming off a season where the team went 25-24. This is the season opener for Northeastern State.
