Baseball schedule adjusted at ESU

EMPORIA, Kan. – Due to forecasted weather in the Emporia area, adjustments to this weekend’s baseball series with Northwest Missouri State and Emporia State has forced a change in schedule.

The two teams will take the field twice on Friday with a first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. as Saturday’s double header will be changed to a 1 p.m. start. With the adjusted schedule both double headers will be one nine-inning game and a one seven-inning game.

Northwest is 6-8 on the year and coming off a series win at Fort Hays State. ESU is 6-3 on the season a split its MIAA opening series at Southwest Baptist.
