Baseball camps set for January
Bearcat High School Clinic | Bearcat Youth Clinic
MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State baseball program will host three winter camps in January at Bearcat Arena on the Northwest campus.
The first session begins Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. and is for boys ages 14 through high school seniors. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. with pitching and catching mechanics work starting at 10 a.m.
The second session will start Jan. 22 and also run from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. with a Q&A following the clinic. The second clinic will focus on hitting, base running and defensive skills also for boys ages 14 through high school. The application deadline for the first two sessions is Jan. 16 and cost is $60 per session.
Head coach Darin Loe and the Bearcats will also host a youth clinic, Jan. 29. The youth clinic will focus on the development of young baseball players in all aspects of the game including: hitting, base running, and defensive skills. Ages 9-13 are invited to attend and cost is $60. Application deadline is Jan. 23.
All campers will receive a free T-Shirt as coaches and parents are encouraged to attend and observe at no extra cost. For more information contact the Northwest baseball coaches’ office at 660.562.1352.
