Northwest-Central Missouri series pushed to Sunday-Monday

MARYVILLE, Mo.-A four-game series between the baseball programs of Northwest Missouri State (0-5) and top-ranked Central Missouri (5-1) will be played Sunday and Monday in Warrensburg, Mo., with doubleheaders starting at 2 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.

The series was supposed to begin Saturday, but has been delayed due to rain in the Warrensburg area. Both days will feature a seven-inning game followed by a nine-inning game although the order would switch should the first game require extra innings. It will be the opening games of the MIAA season for both programs.
