Bearcats Lose Third-Straight in Florida

PENSACOLA, Fla.-Bryce McCrary had an RBI double that sent Joe Kankovsky home and Luke Lavicky had a pinch hit single that scored Jon Henne for Northwest Missouri State's two hits in the Bearcats' 14-2 loss Thursday afternoon to West Florida.
Trent Kohlstaedt gave up eight runs in 2 and one-third innings pitched in his start. Trevor Theismann gave up one run in two and two-thirds innings of work he did in relief.
Northwest (0-5) lost all three games of the series with the Argos and will travel to Arkadelphia, Ark., this weekend for a doubleheader with Missouri S&T on Saturday at noon and will finish the weekend against host-Henderson State in a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at noon.
