7-Game Win Streak Places Northwest at No. 3

ELLENSBURG, Wash. - The Northwest Missouri State Baseball team was tabbed No. 3 in the latest National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Central Region Poll released March 3. The Bearcats (7-2) have won seven straight games and moved up four spots from last weeks poll.

The top three schools all hail from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) with Emporia State No. 1 and Central Missouri No. 2. Four MIAA schools rank in the top ten and another received votes and represents the largest pool of team from a single conference.

Northwest will take on Concordia-St. Paul, who received a No. 8 ranking, this weekend March 8-9 with the location still to be determined.
