OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - White, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound senior from Omaha, Neb., hit for the cycle to highlight his 7-of-14 weekend at the plate against Truman.

He was 1-for-3 in the opener against the Bulldogs Friday (April 27), contributing a two-run single in Northwest's nine-run fifth inning. He also drew a walk and scored twice in the 12-1 victory.

After wearing the 0-of-4 collar in game one of the Saturday (April 28) doubleheader, White started off game two with a run-scoring double to put the Bearcats on the board in the first inning. After Truman cut the lead to 2-1 in the top of the third, he led off the bottom of the frame with a homer to get the run back.

White sparked a three-run fourth with a one-out, RBI single. In his next at bat in the fifth, White sent one over the centerfielder's head to get his cycle with a two-run triple. He was 4-of-4 with five RBI and two runs scored, as Northwest claimed a 9-6 win.

White singled and scored in the first inning and added a run-scoring in the fifth inning as Northwest capped the series sweep with another 12-1 win. He was 2-for-3 with a walk in the contest.
