Weather Continues to Delay Baseball and Softball
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State baseball and softball teams both had games postponed today.
The baseball team was scheduled to play a doubleheader against Missouri Western at 3 p.m. in St. Joseph, but was pushed back to tomorrow, April 11, because of rain. The Bearcats will take on the Griffons at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Phil Welch Stadium.
Northwest baseball currently has an 18-16 overall record and sits second in the MIAA with a 11-4 conference mark.
The softball team was scheduled to take on Fort Hays State at 1 p.m. but was also cancelled because of weather. No make-up date has been scheduled at this time. Softball has now had 17 games cancelled or rescheduled this season.
Northwest softball holds a 15-7 record and 4-2 mark in the MIAA. They are tied for fourth in conference play.
