KZLX and Bearcat Baseball Team Up
MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State baseball team and campus radio station, 106.7 KZLX, team up once again to broadcast a full slate of games in 2006.
Northwest senior broadcasting major Tommy Thrall will handle the play-by-play duties for the fourth season. Thrall will begin the 2006 season on Friday, when the Bearcats are hosted by Central Arkansas.
Thrall and KZLX plan to do all of the single and the first game's of a double header on radio and Internet. A selected number of game two's in the double header will be on the Internet only, at Emporia State on March 26 and March 29 at home against Missouri Western. On April 4 against Emporia State, on the road at Washburn on April 11, April 14 at home against Pittsburg State and the last home game in April against Truman.
