Weston Honored with 2004-05 MIAA Presidential Scholar

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association is proud to announce the names of 62 student-athletes earning recognition on the 2004-05 MIAA Presidential Scholars list.

To gain this distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative 4.00 grade-point average and completed a minimum of two terms of attendance at the nominating institution.

There were 22 male student-athletes and 40 female student-athletes who earned this honor.

Among the 62 are five seniors with a 4.00 GPA ­ Central Missouri State track & field competitor Keith House, Missouri Southern tennis player Lacey mcMunn; Pittsburg State cross country/track runner Megan Nelson; and two from Truman -- golfer John Crossett and swimmer Sarah Dance (the winner of the NCAA's Walter Byers Postgraduate Scholarship).
