TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northwest Missouri State baseball scored in the final six innings including a batch of seven in the fifth and sixth frames, but Northeastern (Okla.) State plated two in the bottom of the 10th frame to post a 12-11 victory in Game 1 this afternoon at Rousey Field. Northwest falls to 1-2 overall while Northeastern improves to 3-2 on the 2005 season.

In the first game, sophomore Tristan Stewart tied a career-high with five RBI on a 3x4 hitting effort. Kyle Gallagher, Doug Metille, Britt Westman and Pat Whitt each collected two hits apiece.
