Season-Opener Time Change at Northeastern

MARYVILLE, Mo. -- The Northwest Missouri State baseball team has moved up its season-opening doubleheader at Northeastern (Okla.) on Saturday, Feb. 12 for a 11:00 a.m. CST first-pitch, announced head coach Darin Loe. Northwest's inaugural game was originally scheduled for 12:00 p.m. for Saturday against the Redmen. The game was changed to try to fit the doubleheader in before rain showers are forecasted to move through Tahlaqua, Okla. later in the day. The 'Cats and Redmen will play two seven innings game on Saturday before wrapping up the series Sunday with a single nine-inning game on Sunday scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
