MIAA tickets now on sale

MIAA Men's Tournament Central | Women's Tournament Central

MARYVILLE, Mo. – Tickets to see the Northwest Missouri State basketball teams play at next month’s MIAA Tournament are now on sale.

The Northwest men’s team has clinched a berth in the MIAA tournament and can clinch a first round bye with a win next Wednesday against Lindenwood at Bearcat Arena. The Bearcat women’s team is currently ranked ninth with four games remaining.

The top four teams in the conference standings will receive a bye to Kansas City for quarterfinal play beginning Thursday, March 6. The 5-8 seeds will host first-round postseason games on campus sites against the 9-12 seeds.

First round action will begin Monday, March 3 for the women’s teams and the men will start Tuesday, March 4 with the winners of those games advancing to Kansas City. Tickets for first round games at campus sites are not part of the MIAA all-session ticket and will only be available from the host site.

The women’s quarterfinals will tip off Thursday, March 6 at Municipal Auditorium with the men's action beginning Friday, March 7. Semifinal round games are slated for Saturday, March 8 with the women playing in the afternoon session starting at noon, and the men taking over for the 6 p.m. session.

Championship Sunday, March 9, begins with the women's game at 1 p.m. immediately followed by the men's championship game. Both men’s and women’s championship games will be aired on the MIAA TV Network.

TICKETS ON SALE


Tickets for the 2014 MIAA Basketball Championships March 6-9 at Kansas City's Municipal Auditorium are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets either in person at the Northwest Student Services Center in the Administration Building or by phone Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at 660.562.1212.

For first-round games (Monday, March 3 or Tuesday, March 4) all tickets will be sold through the home team’s ticket office. Season ticket holders and MIAA all-session tickets are not valid for first-round games.

In the event the Bearcat men and/or women host a first round game, Northwest Missouri season ticket holders must purchase a ticket to attend. All season ticket holders will, however, have first opportunity to purchase their season seats.

MIAA Tournament Tickets (Kansas City):

All-Session - $50 (best value - $65 if purchased at Municipal Auditorium)
Single-Session - $20 – good for any session during the tournament 
Students - $5 (ages 6 through college) – good for any session.
Ages 5 and under FREE.
