Northwest Honored for Excellence in Athletic MarketingCLEVELAND - Northwest Missouri State received national honors for athletic marketing at the 16th Annual Convention of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators in Orlando, Fla., on June 7. Northwest received a Silver Award for Radio Commercials and a Bronze Award for Promotional/Schedule Posters.
"It is an honor to be recognized in two categories and be among some of the best in the nation at our level," said Morris White, Director of Athletic Marketing, Promotions and Licensing. "This is not only great for the Athletic Department, but for the University Publications Department as well. I share this recognition with our university publications contact Amber Hashemi. I give her my vision and she uses her talent to create amazing designs. We hope to continue this success in the future in more categories as well."
Northwest competed in Group III, which is comprised of NCAA Division II and Division III institutions as well as schools from the NAIA. Complete results for all awards can be found at www.nacma.com.
