May 21: Workout Camp I
June 4: Workout Camp II
Description: Northwest Missouri State head baseball coach Darin Loe and his staff is hosting a workout camp for the 2008-09 baseball team Wednesday, May 21, and Wednesday, June 4. Both camps register at noon with the workout to follow at Bearcat Field.
Players wishing to attend the workout are required to wear baseball attire (pants, hat, cleats) and to bring a bat, batting helmet and catches gear (if applicable). Each camper will also need to supply a copy of a doctor's physical exam (must be within the last six months).
The cost of the camp is $20. Please make checks payable to Northwest Baseball. Please contact coach Matt Johnson at 660-562-1938 for additional information.
June 2-5: Girls Individual Camp
Description: Northwest Missouri State head women's basketball coach Gene Steineyer is hosting a Day Camp June 2-5 in the morning for grades 9-12 and in the afternoon for grades 3-8. Each session lasts three hours.
Cost is $55 per camper and includes a camp t-shirt. Fundamentals will be the focus of the camp, but time will also be spent on team skills, team games and individual contests. There will be an emphasis on shooting, but all fundamentals will be covered.
June 12-13: Girls Team Camp I
June 19-20: Girls Team Camp II
July 24-25: Girls Team Camp III
Description: Each team will be guaranteed four games per day. The contests will start at 10 a.m. each day and run through the early evening. Teams will be paired of equal competition and as fairly as possible. Cost is $30 per player for a single day or $50 per player for a two-day block. Campus housing is available. June 15-18: Individual Skills Camp
Description: Northwest Missouri State head men's basketball coach Steve Tappmeyer invites boys entering grades 5-12 to participate in an individual skills camp June 15-18. Campers will be grouped by age and/or ability. Each day consists of lectures on technique followed by small group breakdown.
The focus of the camp will be on improving fundamentals, developing winning habits and emphasizing team play. Individual shooting segments will incorporate the newly patented Noah Basketball System. The camp also includes individual contests, team competitions and full-court 5-on-5.
Cost is $240 for overnight campers, which includes meals, and $155 for commuters for those who register before May 18. Cost is $260 and $175, respectively, after May 18. For more information please call coach Tappmeyer at 660-562-1309.
June 23-26: Boys' and Girls' Day Camp
Description: Day Camp is available to boys and girls entering grades 2-6. Campers can attend a morning or afternoon session or both. Cost is $65 per session or $100 for both for those who register before May 18. Cost is $75 and $100, respectively, after May 18.
Campers will be grouped by age and/or ability. This camp combines fundamental development, games and competition in a positive, fun-filled environment. A short awards ceremony will take place during the last 30 minutes of the final day of camp.
June 10-11: High School Team Camp I
July 11-12: High School Team Camp II
Description: Each team will be guaranteed four games per each camp (date) session. Both junior varsity and varsity team divisions are available on all dates. July 28-29 (9 a.m. - Noon & 1-4 p.m. both days): Open to girls ages 13-18

Aug. 1 (Hitting and Defense, 8 a.m. - Noon): Open to girls ages 8-13. Cost is $50

Description: Northwest Missouri State head football coach Mel Tjeerdsma and his staff invite coaches and players to one of two team contact camps offered this June. Cost is $160 per player for overnight campers and $100 per player for commuter campers. More than 15 teams took advantage of Bearcat football camps in 2007. Description: Northwest Missouri State coaches Adam Dorrel and Charlie Flohr invites players to participate in an offensive line and offensive skills camp June 21-22 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day. Cost is $45 per camp with a $30 deposit required with registration.
Offensive linemen will learn pass and run blocking techniques used by a program that has produced 12 All-American offensive linemen. Others will learn instruction on the quarterback, wide receiver, tight end and running back positions. For more information, please call 660-562-1310 or 660-562-1705.
June 8-11: Track and Field / Cross Country Camp (Boys and Girls ages 13-18)
Description: Join Bearcat coaches and athletes for four tremendous days of track and field. Northwest Missouri State University has among the finest facilities in the United States in one of the most beautiful collegiate settings anywhere.
The camp will focus on expert coaching and individual improvement. Collegiate coaches and athletes will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses as well as provide you with a top-notch technical training. Each camper will also be videotaped in their event and receive coaching analysis.
The cost for overnight campers is $265 and for commuters, the cost is $185. If five or more athletes from the same high school participate, then you can qualify for a team rate of $230 each. For more information, please call head track and field and cross country coach Scott Lorek at 660-562-1303.

Description: Northwest Missouri State coaches and players invite boys and girls to participate in one of four tennis camps offered this summer. Campers will have an opportunity to participate in intensive beginner, intermediate and advanced programs with top instructors, featuring 25 hours of instruction in all.
Each camper will receive a take-home progress and analysis chart. Housing, meals, insurance, swimming privileges, nightly entertainment, a camp t-shirt and a group picture are included. Cost is $250 per session for resident campers and $150 per session for commuter campers. A $75 deposit is required by June 1.

Description: Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Mo., is hosting a tennis clinic for boys and girls ages 10-18. Northwest head coach Mark Rosewell, Higginsville coach Jim Stoner, Excelsior Springs coach Ritchie Marsh and Wentworth Military Academy's Randy Florence are volunteering their time to give back to tennis, where they all started their respective careers. This is an excellent staff with help from Northwest current and former players.

Description: Northwest Missouri State coaches and players invite boys and girls ages 6-14 to learn the fundamentals of soccer at the Bearcats' Team Camp June 16-20. Cost is $75 per individual with sibling discounts available. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. Sessions will run 1-3:30 p.m. each day.

Description: Northwest Missouri State coaches and players invite high school girls individuals and teams to experience an affordable residential college soccer camp July 7-10. Cost for the four-day event is $210 for those that register prior to June 20 and $235 for those that register afterwards. Commuters will be charged $110.
Teams that attend camp together will be housed and trained as a team. Daily speed and agility training sessions by exercise specialist Joe Quinlin, MS, CSCS, ACE-PT, will be given. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. For more information, please contact head coach Tracy Hoza at 660-562-1302.
Description: Northwest Missouri State head coach Anna Tool invites girls grades 7-12 to a great camp for the beginner, intermediate and advanced volleyball players July 13-17. Cost is $315 for those staying overnight and $215 for commuter campers. The cost is $345 and $245, respectively, for those who register after June 20.
The camp offers 11 training/instruction sessions and each camper receives a volleyball and t-shirt. Individual skills will be emphasized and campers will also be involved in various competitions throughout camp. For more information, please contact coach Tool at 660-562-1782.
Description: Northwest Missouri State head coach Anna Tool invites high school girls to participate in the Bearcats' team camp July 26-27. Cost is $125 for over night campers and $75 for commuter campers who register before May 30. A minimum of eight players per team are required. All teams must be accompanied by a coach or chaperone.
Team camp consists of five sessions. The first focuses on team drills and final four are all competition. Teams will learn new drills and also participate in competition. High school coaches will have the chance to work with the Bearcat volleyball staff and ask questions during round-table discussions.
