  • Northwest wraps up a four-game road stretch at No. 17 Central Missouri Oct. 11. Kickoff from Walton Stadium is 1:30 p.m.
  • The Bearcats became the only undefeated team in MIAA play with a 35-10 victory against Pittsburg State at the Fall Classic at Arrowhead VII.
  • Northwest is leading the MIAA in scoring offense, passing offense, total offense, punting, first downs, sacks, third-down conversions, and kickoff coverage.
  • It will be the 87th meeting between Northwest and Central Missouri. The only team the Bearcats have played more is Truman, who they met for the 88th time earlier this season.

Volleyball (6-12 / 3-3 MIAA)

  • Northwest wraps up a four-match road stretch at Nebraska-Omaha before returning to home Oct. 10 to welcome No. 14 Central Missouri.
  • The Bearcats are looking to complete the Maverick sweep after football's 42-0 win and soccer's 2-1 against Nebraska-Omaha win earlier this season.
  • Northwest has played Central Missouri more than any other team. Friday's meeting will be the 85th match between the two.
  • Katie Swenson moved from seventh to fifth in career assist records with 45 against South Dakota Oct. 2. She now stands with 2,187 midway through her sophomore season.

Soccer (7-3-1 / 3-3-1 MIAA)

  • Northwest makes a swing through Kansas with road trips at Washburn and Emporia State this week. A sweep will tie the season win record of nine set in 2006.
  • The Bearcats upset their first ranked opponent of the season, defeating No. 4 Nebraska-Omaha 2-1 Oct. 4. It's the first win against a top five opponent and against Nebraska-Omaha in program history.
  • Northwest has won the last five matches against the Hornets dating back to 2005.
  • Kira Lazenby is on pace to finish 10th in MIAA season records with a 0.60 goals against average.
