Each year, the Missouri Small Business Development Centers take the opportunity to honor several clients from across the state who have most significantly demonstrated the attributes necessary to succeed in the small business arena. In addition to the MO SBDC "Excellence in Business Awards," five businesses are given special state awards. The clients, and the SBDC counselors who have assisted them, are honored at the annual meeting in Jefferson City.
