Fire

  1. Upon discovering a fire, explosion or smoke in the building, activated the fire alarm by using a fire pull station. Exit the building immediately!
  2. Call Public Safety at 660.562.1254 or 911. You should immediately evacuate the building using your preplanned evacuation routes. Do not use elevators.
  3. If possible, provide assistance to mobility-impaired individuals. If it is not possible for you to assist these individuals, call Campus Safety at 660.562.1254 and give them instructions on where the individual is located within the facility.
  4. Once out of the building gather at the preplanned assembly area.
  5. Do not re-enter the building until notified by emergency personnel.
  6. If someone is injured during the fire or evacuation, notify Campus Safety at 660.562.1254.
