Coordinator of Upperclass & Special Populations

Originally from Corcoran, California, the experience of growing up in a working class conservative home as a bi-racial gay man added to my personal lens. My education at California State University, Fresno consisted of majoring in English & Communicative Disorders and Deaf Studies and a minor in Music. It was during my undergraduate experience that I discovered my love for higher education, reading, being a brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, going to Disney parks, and my passion for social justice.  Prior to coming to Northwest Missouri State University  I lived in Connecticut where I pursued a master’s degree in Communication and worked with upperclass residential populations. I love to engage with students and staff by focusing on the holistic and intersectional development of the individual and team identity as it relates to personal and academic success.  I look forward to being a part of the Bearcat experience!
