Northwest offers a self enrollment system for preregistration through 'CatPAWS. Midterm grades, final grades and academic history records (transcripts) are also available on 'CatPAWS.
If for any reason students cannot use the web-based system, they can enroll or adjust schedules in the Registrar's office with signed pre-enrollment forms or drop/add forms.
Enrollment begins with the initial time and continues through January 17.

Students begin the enrollment process at the Admissions Office located on the second floor of the Administration Building. New undergraduate students will receive degree audits from Admissions. All new students will set up their 'CatPAWS account on the second floor enabling personal access to the web-based enrollment system PRIOR to meeting with an advisor. Continuing students should go to the Admissions Office to set your enrollment PIN and then proceed to the Registrar's Office located on the second floor for degree audits. All students proceed to the third floor to the advisement area. Academic advisors will be present to assist in completing the enrollment process. Students will be asked to keep their degree, major, minor, advisor, local address and other demographic information current by providing changes during the registration process.
To complete the enrollment process, ALL students must turn in signed advisement forms to the Registrar's stations at the west end of the third floor in order to obtain a printed Class Schedule. Graduate students must have their advisement form signed by both the advisor and the Graduate Office. Fees should be paid at Cashiering located on the first floor.
A printed Class Schedule must be presented to obtain textbooks. Undergraduate textbooks will be available at Textbook Services located in The Station after registration on Friday, Jan. 8 from 1:30 - 4 p.m. Textbook Services is also open 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Mail-in registration is available to all graduate students. A Graduate Mail-in registration packet may be obtained by calling the Graduate Office at (660) 562-1144 or by mailing a request to the Graduate Office. Registration forms must be received in the Graduate Office at least two weeks before classes begin. Bills are mailed around the 25th of the month and will be due the following 15th. Students will be responsible for consulting with their program director to determine courses to be taken. This mail-in process is not recommended without consultation with the appropriate program director.
Graduate students are encouraged to use the graduate mail-in, online registration or register prior to the beginning of the trimester. If you are unable to utilize one of these options, the Registrar or Graduate Office should be contacted for assistance. Registrations for online (web) courses MUST be completed at least two weeks prior to the first day of class. This will assure computer access by the first day of class.
