Instructional Technology

The MS Ed Teaching: Instructional Technology masters program prepares teachers and industry trainers to integrate technology and lead their students or clients to success in the technology rich learning and working environment of the 21st century. The computer courses are offered online in a 2.5-year cycle, while the education courses are offered at varied Northwest centers.

Instructional Technology Certificate

The Instructional Technology Certificate combines up-to-date knowledge with practical applications and individualized experiences. This non-teaching certificate is appropriate for graduate students seeking advanced coursework who do not wish to pursue a Master's degree. The courses are offered online in a 2.5 year cycle and can be applied toward the master's program in Instructional Technology.

Admission Requirements

  • Make application
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA on undergraduate transcript
  • Minimum score of 700 on the combined verbal and quantitative sections of the GRE
  • Minimum score of 3.5 on the analytic section of the GRE
  • Complete Approved Program Form with advisor

Application Deadlines

 
  • July 15 for enrollment in Fall trimester
  • November 15 for enrollment in Spring trimester
  • March 15 for enrollment in Summer trimester

The certificate program combines up-to-date knowledge with practical applications and indvidualized experience. The aim of the certificate program is to facilitate the profesionial growth of educators and trainers in the use of instructional technology. Courses in this certificate program may be applied toward an M.S.Ed. Teaching: Instructional Technology. GRE and writing sample not required.
