Dr. Kerry Sachetta, principal at Joplin High School, serves as the Joplin Education Coordinator . He assists in recruitment, enrollment, and as a liaison between Northwest Missouri State University and the students, and other capacities as needed. His experiences in education include alternative high school social studies instructor, football coach at the high school and junior high levels, alternative high school principal, and middle school principal. Dr. Sachetta received a bachelors degree in social science education (1984) from Pittsburg State University (PSU). In addition, he received both a masters (1990) and specialist degree (1997) in educational leadership from PSU. In 2001 he completed doctoral studies in educational leadership from Saint Louis University.
He is a member of the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals, the Southwest Association of Secondary School Principals, the AdvancED/North Central Association State Committee, Phi Delta Kappa, the National Staff Development Council, and the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development
