Registration open for Bearcat Leadership Training

Northwest Missouri State University students are invited to register for the Office of Student Involvement’s Bearcat Leadership Training (BLT) conference, which is set for Jan. 10-11 on the Northwest campus.

The free conference for Northwest students and organizational advisors is designed to help participants learn about the behaviors and actions great leaders demonstrate.

Early registration for BLT is underway and continues through Friday, Dec. 9. To register, visit Bearcatlink and search “BLT.” Choose Bearcat Leadership Training, click on the “forms” tab, choose a track based on experience and submit your information.

Through guided, peer-to-peer discussions and interactive group activities, BLT helps participants understand the Student Leadership Challenge model and the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership model, reflect upon and connect their own leadership behaviors and experiences to the content, and apply the leadership practices to their personal endeavors.
