Northwest Missouri State University Career Services invites all students to enter its T-shirt design contest for a chance to have their design printed and distributed throughout the campus.
Entrants must be current Northwest students, and submissions are limited to one per student.
Design submissions must be related to Career Services. They must incorporate one color of ink, and the background must be transparent; the T-shirt background will be charcoal grey. The design will be placed on the front of the T-shirt.
Entries must be submitted in PDF format within dimensions of 8.5 inches by 11 inches and emailed to email@example.com with the subject line “Contest Entry.” The deadline to enter is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18. By entering the contest, entrants give Northwest Career Services all rights to their design.
Judges will select four finalists, and the winner will be determined through a Twitter poll through @NW_Careers.
The winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card and three T-shirts with the winning design as well as recognition through Northwest news media and a powerful addition to his or her portfolio.
Career Services helps Northwest students launch their professional careers by offering a variety of services and programming, including critiques of résumés, cover letters and application materials, and internship and job search assistance as well as its annual Career Days and Mock Interview Days.
By providing these tools for success, Northwest boasts a three-year average career placement rate of 97 percent for undergraduate students and 99 percent for graduate students. This means that 97 percent of bachelor’s degree earners and 99 percent of master’s degree earners are employed or continuing their education within six months of graduation.
