Northwest Missouri State University’s award-winning Stress Less Fest is returning this spring to help students relieve tension and take a break from their studies for final exams.
Wellness Services, in collaboration with Bearcat Peer Education, will sponsor Stress Less Fest from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday, April 25, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom.
The event provides students an opportunity to enjoy free food and giveaways while participating in interactive activities. The Stress Less Fest includes activities such as Zumba, yoga, aroma therapy, karaoke, massages, therapy dogs, finger-painting, coloring, games and music.
Northwest’s Stress Less Fest has earned the Best Practices in College Health Award from the American College Health Association. The award recognizes exemplary, innovative and inspirational practices in one of four major areas of college health: clinical services, counseling services, administrative and consumer services, and health education and promotion services.
