Northwest Missouri State University’s Student Senate and Student Activities Council will host their second annual Technicolor Run for Cancer from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the Raymond J. Courter College Park Pavilion.
The event is open to the public and all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Families are invited to participate in a two-mile color run, a 5k, a 10k, bike races and a carnival.
Pre-Registration closes at 5 p.m. Friday, April 1. Check-in opens one hour prior to the race start and closes 10 minutes prior to the race start. Individuals who do not check-in, may not participate in the races.

Begins at 8 a.m. Registration is $25 for the 5k and $30 for the 10k. The timed event will take participants on a route on the Northwest campus. Walkers and strollers are allowed. Participants will receive a T-shirt and a wrist band.
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $3 on the day of the event. Individuals will need a wristband to enter. Enjoy inflatable obstacle courses, slides, games and more. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Begins at 11:30 a.m. Registration is $3. Children will compete for the top three places in each age group. All children must wear a helmet. Participants under the age of 10 are required to wear knee and elbow pads.
Begins at 2 p.m. Registration is $20. The event features a two-mile run or walk during which runners are showered with colored powder, made of food-grade corn starch. Participants will receive a Technicolor Run T-Shirt and a bracelet of their choice to represent a specific cancer type.
