Northwest sets next surplus sale for March 1

Northwest Missouri State University will have a surplus property sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the Materials Distribution Center, located at the corner of West 16th Street and College Park Drive.

The sale is open to the public, including Northwest students and employees. Sale items will be available for inspection by potential buyers from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, and 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 1.

Full payment must be made immediately after the sale. The University will accept cash, money order, cashier or certified check, personal or business check. All purchased property must be removed by 4 p.m. Friday, March 4.

Items to be sold include but are not limited to: Miscellaneous computer equipment and supplies, miscellaneous notebooks, flat screen monitors, computer server, office equipment, desks, file cabinets, miscellaneous chairs, round tables, glass display cover, audio/visual carts, wood bookcases, sheet music, Hot Point double oven, stainless steel sinks, range top, 12-foot dining table and 14 chairs, kitchen cabinets, wall partitions, photographer sink, blood pressure instruments, equipment bags, Speedaire air compressor (220 volt), Atlas table saw, Atlas drill press, Kohler generator, electric motors, variable drives, disconnect electrical boxes, fluorescent lights, Shop Vacs, metal studs, half-inch sheetrock, chemical resistant pipe fittings, bicycles, chain link fence, split rail fence, wood posts, metal braces, transformers, plastic pipe, floor drains and covers, recessed walk-off mats, scrap metal, 5-foot Rhino brush cutter, 325-gallon plastic water tank, semi-trailer I-Star 800 (scrap, not road safe).

Vehicles to be sold include but are not limited to: 1999 Dodge 1500 pickup (bad Transmission); 2005 Chevrolet Impala; 2007 Chevrolet Impala; 2008 Ford Crown Victoria (bad Transmission).
