The Northwest Missouri State University wants to hear from local business leaders as it works to identify profession-based learning opportunities and develop students to be career-ready on day one.
Business leaders are invited to join the University as it hosts a summit on profession-based learning from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom on the Northwest campus.
Northwest is collaborating with local and regional industry leaders to ensure it is offering programs and developing students to be successful in their careers. The program will include discussions about profession-based learning and how it benefits students and communities. The program also will include a showcase of students currently completing profession-based learning experiences.
