Inventors who aspire to get their products in front of a television audience have an opportunity learn some tips and tricks this month at Northwest Missouri State University.
Northwest will host a “Will it Launch?” workshop at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, in rooms 1323 and 1226 of the Dean L. Hubbard Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, located at 1402 N. College Dr. on the northeast corner of the campus.
The event is free and open to the public, including Northwest students.
Carrie Jeske, an expert in developing innovative products for “As Seen on TV,” will lead the workshop and explain the seven criteria of successful products. While no patent is required, she explains how to license ideas with a handmade prototype and homemade demo video. For more information, contact Dr. Ben Blackford, assistant professor in Northwest’s School of Business, at 660.562.1282 or email@example.com, or visit www.willitlaunch.com.
