The Reduced Shakespeare Company will take a Northwest Missouri State University audience on an irreverent yet heartwarming trip through the holidays in “The Ultimate Christmas Show” – a festive show that’s perfect for the entire family – at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.

“The Ultimate Christmas Show” features the three wise guys of the Reduced Shakespeare Company celebrating winter holiday traditions, rekindling the joy, inner-child and familial dysfunction inside all of us.

When none of the scheduled acts arrive to perform for the Annual Holiday Variety Show and Christmas Pageant at St. Everybody’s Non-Denominational Universalist Church, the men are pressed into service to perform the entire Variety Show and Christmas Pageant by themselves. Audience members will learn how Santa saved Christmas and the origin of the term “nutcracker,” among other antics.

Tickets are free for all Northwest students, and Northwest employees may purchase discounted tickets.
