Online verification open for fall students

Northwest Missouri State University students may now verify their enrollment for fall 2015.

Online verification is necessary for all undergraduate students to confirm enrollment. Students enrolled in directed teaching, internships, study abroad and online-only courses must complete the verification process. Graduate students also should confirm their enrollment by completing online verification. 


Steps to verify

Students should use their CatPAWS account to verify enrollment and personal information. Students may verify online at their convenience through Monday, Aug. 31, as follows:

Late online verification is Tuesday, Sept. 1, and Wednesday, Sept. 2. A $15 late fee will be charged to your account.

Class schedules are subject to cancellation on Thursday, Sept. 3, for students who do not complete online verification.

Students who preregistered but will not attend the fall 2015 trimester should send an email to by Friday, Aug. 28, to cancel fall classes and avoid financial obligation.

Textbook pickup

Online Verification must be completed prior to picking up undergraduate textbooks. Textbook pickup is located in The Station on the following dates and times:

Students who are unable to pick up textbooks may have another person pick them up as long as the student has completed online verification and the person picking up the textbooks has the student’s 919 number. 

Pre-packaged textbooks picked up after 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, will be assessed a late fee of $30.

Northwest-Kansas City

Northwest-Kansas City students will pick up textbooks on site. Online Verification should be completed prior to arriving.


Class schedule changes& refunds

Drop or add courses through CatPAWS or by visiting the Registrar’s Office on the second floor of the Administration Building.

To add a closed class, bring a properly-signed drop/add form to the Registrar’s Office.

Last date to drop (for refund dates, please see additional dates below):

Drop a course on ‘CatPAWS by these dates. No signatures are required.
