Northwest Missouri State University’s Office of Information Technology has announced hours and procedures for students who need to return their notebook computers.
All students not returning to Northwest for the summer or fall trimesters must return their notebook computer, stickered AC adapter and cord, and green network cord to the Jon T. Rickman Electronic Campus Support Center no later than 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2. Students should keep their return receipt as proof of their return.
A $75 summer notebook charge will be billed to the student if his or her notebook is not returned by May 2.
Student must be pre-enrolled for summer or fall trimester classes and maintain pre-enrollment to keep a notebook computer for the summer. Students who have not returned their notebook and fail to remain pre-enrolled for fall 2015 will incur a $1,500 fee for a non-returned notebook computer.
Students enrolled in summer courses at Northwest may keep their notebook during the summer and will not be charged the summer notebook fee.

Students experiencing trouble with their notebook computer or in need of computer repairs should back up their personal files before bringing the notebook computer to the Electronic Campus Support Center for exchange or repair.
Summer hours, beginning Monday, May 4, are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hours may vary during intersession and holidays.
