Northwest Missouri State University undergraduate and graduate students, as well as students at the University’s Missouri Academy of Science, Mathematics and Computing are invited to submit their best work for presentation at the annual Celebration of Quality.
Submissions for this year’s Celebration of Quality are being accepted by Assistant Professor of History Dr. Elyssa Ford or online at www.nwmissouri.edu/academics/celebration/ until Friday, Feb. 13.
Students may submit any successfully completed work from the current trimester or the previous year.
The Celebration of Quality is an interdisciplinary symposium spotlighting exceptional student work throughout campus and is jointly sponsored by the Society of President’s Scholars and the Honors College.
Past submissions have ranged from creative writing and original research papers, to speeches and visual summaries of projects in science, education and business. Students also have presented dramatic readings and played or analyzed music compositions.
This year’s symposium will be 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 13. Sessions will take place before and after a banquet to which all Celebration participants and their faculty sponsors are invited; tickets may also be purchased for guests. As usual, posters and artwork will be displayed.
For more information regarding the Celebration of Quality, contact Northwest faculty members Dr. Elyssa Ford at firstname.lastname@example.org, Dr. Mohammed Meziani at email@example.com or Dr. Aaron Johnson at AJ@nwmissouri.edu.
