Northwest Missouri State University announces the naming of Brandon Stanley to lead its Office of University Marketing and Communication.
In his new role, approved by Northwest’s Board of Regents Monday, Stanley will provide vision, strategic direction and management to University marketing, communication and KXCV-KRNW.
“We are excited to have Brandon assume this position and help spread the story of the great performance, progress and plans at Northwest Missouri State,” said Northwest President Dr. John Jasinski. “He is a consummate professional with ingenuity and a keen eye for helping drive connection and affinity.”
Stanley, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Northwest, joined the University’s communications and marketing office in 2013 as chief officer of marketing and design. In that role, he has led the University’s marketing efforts, overseeing advertising, graphic design and social media.
Previously, Stanley was employed as manager of public relations for Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun and Worlds of Fun Village in Kansas City, Mo. Beginning at Worlds of Fun in 2004 as a marketing account executive, he developed and executed marketing campaigns to promote park attractions and events, managed online and social media content, and coordinated media-related activities.
Stanley assumes the duties previously held by Mitzi Craft, who now serves the University as director of corporate and foundation relations.
