Students in grade levels two through six and their families are invited to a Candyland-themed Family Math Night from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom on the Northwest Missouri State University campus.
Stations will engage elementary-aged students and their families in an evening of mathematics fun. Topics will include probability, graphs, symmetry, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, polygons and measurement.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is hosted by students in Northwest’s algebra and geometry for elementary and middle school teachers course. Refreshments will be available.
