Exercise study seeks participants, offers free gym membership

Individuals interested in joining an exercise study at Northwest Missouri State University have the opportunity to earn a free three-month gym membership.

The research project will require participants to attend an initial meeting and performance testing toward the end of March as well as a concluding meeting and performance testing in the beginning of July.

Benefits of participating in the study include a free gym membership, free body composition testing and a free physical activity evaluation.

The study, which is open to Northwest employees, students and local residents, will accept 30 to 40 participants. Individuals interested in the study need to complete a pre-registration survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/NWexercisepsych by Friday, March 21.

The research is funded by a Northwest Applied Research Grant.
