Northwest Missouri State University’s advertising club, AdInk, recently created a marketing plan to help Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Nodaway County generate awareness for its annual event, Bowl for Kids’ Sake.
AdInk created social media content, flyers and activities to promote the event on and off campus. The club also sponsored a miniature bowling game in the J.W. Jones Student Union to create awareness about the BBBS event and encourage people to register for it.
The BBBS event begins at 5 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Bearcat Lanes, 1803 S. Main, in Maryville. Teams will raise money to benefit BBBS while bowling for a chance to win prizes. For more information about the event, visit www.bbbsnodaway.org.
AdInk is a Northwest organization for students interested in advertising-related careers. The club is open to all majors and offers a variety of events and services throughout the academic year. For more information, visit www.AdInk.org or follow the club on Twitter, @NW_AdInk.
