Education majors and school districts are invited to attend the 2014 Education Expo from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 17, in Bearcat Arena at Northwest Missouri State University.
The event is free and students do not need to pre-register. School districts and employers may register by visiting www.nwmissouri.edu/careerserv/HABinfo.htm.
The Education Expo is a positive networking opportunity for all education majors, alumni and school districts. Students will learn about future employers and school districts can meet possible employees.
Northwest Career Services, which coordinates the event, anticipates more than 60 employers from Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska will attend. For a complete list of attending school districts visit www.nwmissouri.edu/careerserv/events/36848.htm.
New and alumni teacher candidates are encouraged to present their resumes, introduce themselves and discuss potential job openings with attending representatives. The event also gives Northwest students a chance to network, learn more about the teaching profession and explore career paths offered by the attending employers.
