Northwest Missouri State University’s Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) will sponsor an introduction to QuickBooks to help business operators learn to use the software and run their businesses more efficiently and effectively.
The event is 2-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at the St. Joseph Metro Chamber, 3003 Frederick Ave., in St. Joseph. The cost for the training is $50, and individuals may register by clicking here.
Participants will learn all the basics of QuickBooks, including:
Participants also will receive a take-home, easy-to-understand, manual of the training content. Because the training is a live demonstration, participants are encouraged to bring laptops.

The Northwest SBTDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. With offices in Maryville, St. Joseph and Chillicothe, is serves an 18-county area in northwest Missouri and focuses on economic development assistance for businesses with fewer than 500 employees. It provides individual business counseling to small business owners and individuals, coordinates and conducts research related to technical and general small business problems, and conducts conferences and workshops on topics of interest to small business owners.
