Northwest Missouri State University’s Pre-Law Society will host a panel discussion, titled “The Law School Experience,” Monday, April 15.
The panel discussion will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Tower View Dining Room in the J.W. Jones Student Union. Topics will include preparing for law school, the application process, financing a legal education, how to succeed in law school and the legal job market.
The event is designed to inform all pre-law students, including freshmen who are deciding whether to pursue a legal career and seniors who are accepted to a law school.

After the discussion, students are invited to a pot luck dinner with the panelists at the home of Dan Smith, assistant professor of political science and Pre-Law Society advisor. The dinner begins at 6:45 p.m. and will include a main course. Pre-law students are asked to bring a side dish, dessert or drinks. Students interested in attending the dinner should RSVP to Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
