Travis Miller, a senior agronomy major at Northwest Missouri State University, has been recognized as an outstanding senior by the American Society of Agronomy (ASA).
The National Student Recognition Program recognizes outstanding seniors who belong to an active chapter affiliated with the American Society of Agronomy (ASA), among other crop science, soil science or agronomy organizations. Recipients receive a plaque and recognition in the April issue of CSA News.
Miller, of Treynor, Iowa, and a member of Northwest’s Agronomy Club, was nominated for the honor by faculty advisor Dr. Tom Zweifel. Selection is based on scholarship and leadership activities as well as personal traits.
“Travis has provided valuable leadership to the Agronomy Club during a period of growth and furthered its mission of promoting professional development,” Zweifel said.
