Northwest Missouri State University’s Office of Human Resources and Office of Intercultural Affairs have announced the creation of an opportunity aimed at helping the University’s faculty and staff members advancing intercultural competence.
The Northwest Institute for Social Justice will provide social justice training to University employees and provide participants with a transformational experience to explore their own social justice skills, learn how they show up in the world and advance their own intercultural competence.
The program consists of seven sessions, beginning Tuesday, Feb. 26. All sessions are 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m, and participants must attend all sessions to graduate. To register, click here.
The sessions will include short video clips, presentations as well as conversations. Participants will receive a journal to encourage self-reflection. Session topics are listed below.
