Grow, Vogel named to leadership roles within state association

Tamera Grow, associate director of admissions, and Terri Vogel, registrar, at Northwest Missouri State University accepted leadership roles with the Missouri Association of Registrars and Admissions Officers (MACRAO) during the organization’s 76th Annual Conference, Oct. 28-30.

At the conference, Grow was installed as an officer and serves as secretary and historian on the MACRAO executive board. She will be responsible for recording minutes for all meetings of the MACRAO Executive Board.

Vogel was appointed chair of the Records and Registration Committee. The committee is charged with examining issues and concerns related to individuals working in records and registration, and providing informational sessions related to those issues at the yearly conference.

Grow joined the Northwest staff in 2002 as an admissions clerk. She later became an admissions data specialist and was named associate director of admissions-operations in 2006. She completed her bachelor’s degree in office information systems at Northwest in 2001 and a master’s degree in business administration in 2004.

Vogel has served as Northwest’s registrar since 2010, and has been employed in various roles at the University since 1998, including as instructor in the Department of Agricultural Sciences, business development specialist for the University of Missouri Extension and an academic services assistant. Vogel earned her bachelor's degree in industrial psychology from Northwest in 2002 and her master's in business administration from Northwest in 2004.
