Student Senate organizes Bearcat Restoration projects to assist community

The Student Senate at Northwest Missouri State University invites all members of the University community to participate in the next service opportunity as part of new series of service projects aimed at assisting the city of Maryville and its residents.

Student Senate’s Civic Service Committee has organized the service projects, called Bearcat Restoration, and invited Northwest students and employees to join them Sunday, Oct. 21, for a campaign to collect canned goods for the Maryville Ministry Center.

Interested participants should meet at the J.W. Jones Student Union parking lot at 12:45 p.m.

Individuals or teams interested in participating are encouraged to sign up before Thursday, Oct. 18, by clicking here. Volunteers will then be assigned a section of Maryville from which to collect donations. Participants also will be receive a free T-shirt.
