Sept. 30, 2012
Northwest Missouri State University students and employees have a chance this week to ensure their spot in the 2013 Tower yearbook.
Tower yearbook is taking individual portraits from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, through Thursday, Oct. 4, on the second floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union, outside the Bearcat Bookstore. Individuals may make appointments or walk up.
There is no charge to have a portrait taken. Proofs will be mailed to an address provided by the individual with purchasing options.
Additionally, Tower will be taking organizational portraits this week from 5-9:30 p.m. Groups may schedule a time for their portrait by sending an email to 2013 Tower Editor-in-Chief Kari Kolts at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Tower is the only chronological history of the academic year at Northwest,” Kolts said. “Students can look back 30 years from now and remember what happened this year.”Recently, Kolts said, the Northwest Missouri Genealogical Society acquired every edition of Tower dating back to 1920 for the purpose of digitizing them and helping people trace their family history through the yearbooks.
