The blood drive will take place from 11 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25; Thursday, Sept. 27; and Friday, Sept. 28; in the Tower View Dining Room, located on the third floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union.
Interested donors may sign up during between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, through Thursday, Sept. 20, on the first floor of the Student Union, or online by visiting http://www.esavealifenow.org/.
The Northwest Student Senate’s 2010 blood drive was recognized with the Community Blood Center’s Largest Blood Drive Award as the Northwest community and Maryville residents donated a record 262 units. Student Senate estimates three lives are saved with every unit collected.
Student Senate blood drives are coordinated with the Community Blood Center, which is the sole supplier of St. Francis Hospital in Maryville.
