Northwest Missouri State University students of all kinds are invited to learn about University and community resources Wednesday, March 14, at the Northwest Community Resource Fair.
The resource fair will be 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom. The Association of Non-Traditional Students (ANTS) at Northwest is sponsoring the event.
The resource fair will feature businesses and organizations on the Northwest campus and in the Maryville community, such as realtors, churches and campus religious groups, wellness services, student services and campus safety.
The non-traditional students’ needs are a little different than traditional students’ needs in that they are established in their home but still may need some extra resources to get them through their college career,” ANTS Event Coordinator Phyllis Ware said. “The focus for the resource fair is to get the non-traditional and commuter students hooked up with any type of service they might need while they are on campus to make their educational careers successful.”
Door prizes will be awarded along with the grand prize of a 2012-2013 student parking pass.
