Student organizations sponsoring supply drive for animal shelter

The Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) honor society and the Association of Non-Traditional Students (ANTS) at Northwest Missouri State University are sponsoring a supply drive to benefit the New Nodaway Animal Shelter.

The drive begins Wednesday, Feb. 29, and continues through Friday, March 30. Donors may place supplies in boxes located inside the east entrance on the second floor of the J.W. Jones Student Union or inside the entrance of the B.D. Owens Library.

Needed supplies include kitty litter, dog leashes, dog collars and harnesses, dog squeak toys, cat toys, dog and cat treats, laundry soap, bleach, plastic gloves, paper towels, toilet paper, paper clips, newspapers and shredded paper for cages, reams of copy paper, large and small bowls for food and water, and blankets and towels.
